Mentoring Future Leaders

Welcome to Collegiate Prep Academy

At Collegiate Prep Academy, we believe that every gifted and talented student deserves an academic journey that matches their extraordinary capabilities. If you are a parent seeking advanced challenges for your child in grades 7-12, you are in the right place. Collegiate Prep Academy is ideal for students who cannot access AP Level courses due to limited seats.  Currently we are offering hybrid courses from 4 pm to 7 pm to facilitate students from all schools.

Why limit your dreams of success?

Why restrict your child’s access to a rigorous curriculum? Here, your child can thrive without compromise.

Customized Learning Paths

Our unique approach allows students to tailor their educational experiences. With personalized learning paths, your child can pursue their passions and interests while receiving the support they need to excel. From individualized projects to mentorship opportunities that enhance college applications, we empower students to take charge of their educational journey.

Inspire Inquiry and Foster Critical Thinking

Our curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity and nurture problem-solving skills. Through a blend of individual investigations, Socratic discussions, and direct mentorship, students are transformed into critical thinkers who are well-prepared for future challenges.

Hands-On Learning Experiences

Collegiate Prep Academy integrates research and project-based learning with real-world applications. Students engage in hands-on experiences both in the classroom and at renowned institutions like the New Jersey Institute of Nature and other research facilities. Our instructional strategies are inspired by the International Baccalaureate MYP program, ensuring a world-class education.

Capstone Projects: A Showcase of Achievement

Throughout the year, students embark on a capstone project that culminates in a presentation of their work and discoveries. This immersive experience not only showcases their knowledge but also builds confidence and prepares them for the next steps in their academic and professional lives.

Parent Testimonials

“ Mrs. Jamil taught my child in senior year in high school. As an educator myself, I can confidently say she is a very professional and dedicated educator who puts in 100% for her students!”

(Parent)

“Ms. Jamil’s extensive knowledge in science subjects was evident in her classes. She played an essential role in her students’ learning in the science classroom. With a variety of teaching styles used to foster engagement, such as hands-on fun labs, simulations, novel dissections, and class lectures that included the latest updates on the topics in the subject she taught; as well as educational field trips, hair, DNA, and fingerprint analysis activities in her Forensics class. Even in lectures, which most students may find dry, her love for teaching was shown through the smile on her face as she discussed topics she was passionate about. Ms. Jamil’s zeal for teaching has impacted many students, including myself. I initially came into high school as a reserved 9th grader but came out of my shell because of my biology class. I learned to participate more, how to ask insightful questions, and engage more with my teacher. She is firm with her students yet kind. The field trip we took in my Forensics class was the highlight of my freshman year, being both educational and enjoyable. She coached Science Olympiad, HOSA and Science Bowl for us in high school. My interest in Science is all thanks to her. Overall, Ms. Jamil has left an impact that will stay with me throughout the rest of high school and life as a whole.”

Former student- Soah F

“I took Honors Precalculus in high school, and the struggle became real. There were times I felt overwhelmed, but Mrs. Lekhi was always there, going above and beyond. She would stay up late, and we would Zoom until 11 pm, working through problems and reviewing material, even though I wasn’t technically her student anymore. It was clear how much she genuinely cared about my success, putting in so much extra time and effort to see me thrive. When I was later diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, it made sense why learning was always so much harder. Mrs. Lekhi was one of the few teachers who understood that I needed different support, even before I had an official diagnosis. She was patient, never rushing me, and created a space where I felt comfortable asking questions and taking the time I needed. Her belief in me made all the difference. Mrs. Lekhi is the reason I didn’t feel completely incompetent in middle school. She made sure I knew I wasn’t “stupid” but simply learned in a unique way. I am so grateful for her patience, dedication, and unwavering support.”
