MIDDLE SCHOOL
In this interactive seminar, middle school students explore real-world challenges through hands-on research, collaborative problem-solving, and design thinking. Working in teams, students learn how to ask meaningful questions, analyze data, and create practical solutions to issues affecting their community and the world. Through projects such as community research, design challenges, and a final research fair, students build essential skills in critical thinking, communication, creativity, and responsible inquiry. Students may also engage with global citizen-science platforms like SciStarter to contribute to real research efforts inspired by The Field Guide to Citizen Science.
